The Aureus Clavis Hotel *** is a small, romantic hotel, housed in a classic Gothic building in the very heart of the historical centre of Prague in Mala Strana (the Lesser Town) in the street Nerudova. Most major tourist destinations - Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, the old Jewish quarter of Josefov - are within walking distance. Restoration of the building, which took place recently (2007), has preserved the spirit and design of the original architects.
We offer comfortable accommodation in 26 rooms: 16 standard double rooms, 7 economy double rooms, 2 triple rooms and one suite. Among the amenities available in each room are free wireless internet connection and TV SAT. Every room comes with its own bathroom, which is equipped with a shower or a bathtub. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate extra beds or a baby cot; these can be supplied on demand.
Each room is of a different design and size and equipped with a carefully selected mix-up of antique and modern furnishings. Spacious standard rooms are located on the first and second floor and smaller economy rooms are located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) in an attic setting with wooden ceilings or beams with a lovely view of Mala Strana roofs and Prague Petrin Gardens.
On the ground floor there is a stylish lounge bar with reception desk and a glass roofed restaurant in the atrium. The breakfast is served here from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
